Founded in 1984, the C&U Group is one of the eight largest bearing manufacturers in the world and is China’s largest manufacturer in this field. The company develops and manufactures a wide range of bearing products for automotive and industrial applications and is committed to providing its customers with first-class high-performance bearings. 

C&U Europe, a subsidiary of the C&U Group, has been active in the European market since 2012 and opened a Technology Center in Germany end of 2019.

For our European customers in Italy, we want to strengthen our team with a qualified Account Manager in charge to develop new accounts and sustain those one already in the pipeline together with the present Italian team.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities

Sales & Customer focus:  

  • Establish, develops, and maintains positive business relationships with potential customers for all OEM Automotive and Industrial  
  • Acts as the main contact for commercial, technical, and quality related projects and activities 
  • Controls and coordinates business and project related activities between C&U and customers  
  • Identifies customer needs and develop new products/projects to maximize sales development
  • Reviews commercial and technical customer requirements.

 

Business Development & Reporting:  

  • Develops and implements sales objectives, business plans and strategies for current and potential customers  
  • Prepares and maintains field sales reports (call reports, business plans, customer forecast, customer projects)  
  • Participates in forecasting and market analysis by collecting, analysing, general economic, industry and competitive information.  
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc. 
  • You will report to the Sales director Europe South

 

Collaboration & Networking:

  • Support for communicating and resolving internal and external quality related activities towards the customer (APQP, quality requirements, quality Audits,..)  
  • Coordinates Proto and PPAP/sample activities, drawing review, and sample orders and testing follow up at every stage of the APQP process
  • Reviews professional publications, attend to commercial fairs, marketing the C&U brands with the customers
  • Establishing personal networks & participating in professional societies

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical disciplines  
  • 5+ years of experience directly in the bearing industry and/or working with bearings related applications in the automotive, industrial or aftermarket industry 
  • High energy, entrepreneurial drive to grow sales from scratch  
  • Strong planning and organizational skills. Preferably PM skills  
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate across all levels, internally and externally   
  • English is a must, German is a plus, Chinese would be fantastic
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter, good team player and team motivator
  • with ability to work from home office and with willingness to travel up to 50% locally or overnight.
